Shemila has held several roles in the California higher education system for nearly 12 years. Presently she is the Executive Director for an adult education consortium working closely with adult schools, community colleges, workforce and support service partners to ensure adults in their communities are afforded opportunities to thrive. Working with education and workforce, Shemila understands SRA’s wrap-around supports model and wholeheartedly believes in the work SRA does. Supporting the youth to continue their post high school education , while incurring minimal debt and engaging with the workforce early are key to ensuring their success. Shemila is grateful to be a part of such an impactful program and model.
