Long Nguyen was born and raised in Sai Gon, Vietnam, and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He earned a B.A. in Linguistics and minored in Dance from Salisbury University, and also earned a M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages with a teaching credential from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. It’s been such a privilege to serve and support low income, first generation, underrepresented and undocumented students and families in the DMV – DC, Maryland, Virginia metropolitan area for more than 8 years. He enjoys hiking, boxing, performing, dancing, traveling, yoga & meditation. Fun fact about Long, he auditioned for the reality competition show So You Think You Can Dance.
