College and Career Advisor

Giselle is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the US in order to attend college in 1993. She holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Pace University, an MA in Sociology from New York University, a Social Studies Teaching Credential from Humboldt State, as well as an MS in Educational Leadership and an Administrative Services Credential from Cal State East Bay. Giselle has worked as a College and Career Coach for over fifteen years alongside her work as a K-12 School Administrator and Sociology Instructor. As a first generation college graduate, the work of guiding and supporting “first-gen” students is deeply personal to Giselle and her goal as an educator, advisor, and mentor is to nurture, empower, and inspire young people to reach for their best selves.
