Interim Chief Executive Officer

Angela Bugayong is a seasoned professional in college advising and student success. Currently serving as Interim CEO at Students Rising Above (SRA), she has also been Senior Director of Program Strategy and Chief Program Officer. Angela has led the strategy for all student programs and services, establishing a robust framework for data management and aligning initiatives with SRA’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Previously, as Associate Director of the Access Learning Lab at the College Board, Angela developed a data-enhanced advising tool supporting 1,600 high school students. At the College Success Foundation (CSF), she oversaw programs for over 300 students, guiding them to graduation. She also secured a TRIO Upward Bound grant and established a collaboration with American University’s Center for Postsecondary Readiness and Success.

Angela’s career is marked by her dedication to mission-driven work with strategic leadership that shapes organizations and elevates the experiences of all stakeholders.
