#SRAStudyHaul Success!

On August 21st, Students Rising Above launched our first ever #SRAStudyHaul Campaign to support nearly 500 SRA students as they headed back to school, eager to excel! The goal of the campaign was to raise $10,000 for back to school.

 We are thrilled to announce that by September 13th, the #SRAStudyHaul Campaign raised over $22,500! With the help of legacy SRA supporter, Bassett Furniture’s $5,000 dollar-for-dollar match challenge, and our incredible SRA community, we were able to provide books and course materials for over 40 SRA students!

We want to thank all our corporate partners who participated and hosted fundraising drives, including, Atlassian, Okta, Rodan + Fields, Sojern, and Zoom, as well as SRA students, alumni, and staff, who hosted personal Facebook fundraisers.

Students Soaring with Southwest!  

Our #SRAStudyHaul Campaign raised funds for our students’ back to school needs. Yet, an additional part of back to school that can be a huge challenge for our students is buying a plane ticket. Many SRA students are at top schools all across the country. That is why we are so happy to report that our Premier Airline Sponsor, Southwest, helps to send our students back to school at colleges and universities far from home! Thank you, Southwest for your contribution of flying our students to school and helping them soar!
