Melonie Vallejo joined Students Rising Above in Fall 2025 as a College and Career Advisor. Born and raised in East Los Angeles, California, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Education. Since then, she has dedicated her career to supporting students across the Bay Area as a teacher and program coordinator. As a former participant in college access programs that supported her own journey to and through college, Melonie is deeply committed to helping students overcome barriers, discover their potential, and achieve their dreams.
