The 6th Annual Students Rising Above Gala was held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 and thanks to our many supporters, the event was a huge success. 

This evening celebrated and honored our remarkable students.  Nearly 500 guests attended including 40+ students to hear our key note speaker, Silena Layne share her extraordinary story.  Thank you to all who attended and for your help in making the dream of a college education a reality for hard-working students.

The SRA Gala raises essential funds to send our students to college and to increase the number of students selected into our program. Over the past six years, proceeds from this event allowed us to triple the number of students selected and to expand student program services. With your help, the seventh Gala celebration will continue a tradition of making dreams come true for deserving students.
