Brenda Walker started working with SRA in 2007 when she helped a high school student of hers get into the program. That first year she drove her student to all the events and participated in many of them herself. The next year she joined the SRA team as an Advisor. She received her Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Credential from SF State, and her Master’s in Counseling from USF. She is a retired educator, having taught various subjects throughout her career, mainly in social studies before spending the last ten years in academic counseling. Brenda is married and enjoys visiting her grandchildren and staying in touch with her SRA graduates.
