Allison Zisko-Dua graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Education from Boston College and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University. She began her education career with Teach for America-Phoenix as a classroom teacher. After returning to the Bay Area in 2005, Allison continued her work in education as a Director of Education for Sylvan Learning, second grade teacher at St. Christopher School in San Jose, and volunteer court appointed advocate with Child Advocates Santa Clara County. She joined Students Rising Above in 2011.
